Welcome to my web site. I am a composer of film music and performing artist or original instrumental music. I am a student of the biological sciences which is reflected in my music. I am on a constant search and enthusiastically welcome collaboration with other artists, film producers, directors, writers and musicians for new ideas and projects. Having spent many years in the past studying music composition and jazz improvization, I have honed my musical skills working as a studio musician and "session guy". In the recent past I have enjoyed composing music for film. There is a sampling of my music on the listen page. Please enjoy the site, and contact me if you have an interest in discussing musical projects and ideas.

"Shadows of shadows passing. It is now 1831, and as always I am absorbed with a delicate thought. It is how poetry has indefinite sensations, to which end music is inessential. Since the comprehension of sweet sound is our most indefinite conception, music, when combined with a pleasurable idea, is poetry. Music without the idea is simply music. Without music or an intriguing idea, color becomes pallor, man becomes carcass, home becomes catacomb, and the dead are but for a moment motionless." --Edgar Alan Poe
